Jack Lee Buckley

Jack Lee Buckley, age 65, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at his home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West with full Military Honors. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Monday, November 6, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Mr. Buckley was born on October 15, 1958, in Ward, WV; the son of the late Albert and Elsie Ann Thompson Buckley. Jack served for over 20 years in the US Navy and retired as a police officer from Ft. Campbell. He was a member of Christian County FOP and Salem Baptist. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Buckley; his sister, Margaret Araujo; his son-in-law Joshua Ditsch; and his granddaughter, Beverly Ditsch.

Survivors include his wife of 4 years, Karen Johnson Buckley of Hopkinsville; his sons, Jack Buckley, Jr. “Skeeter” of Michigan, Coty Hill (Mallory Swift) of Elkton, KY; his daughters, Janell Harvey of Indiana, Tamitha Ditsch of Indiana, Tricia Buckley (John Jacobsen) of Hopkinsville, Jacquelyn Buckley of Arizona, Katie Dulin (Kevin) of Elkton, KY; his brothers, Dan Buckley (Jeanne) of Tennessee, Douglas Buckley (Tracey) of Arizona, Albert “Byrne” Buckley (Jean) of Indiana; his 13 grandchildren; and his 11 great-grandchildren.
