Debbie McGhee

Debbie McGhee, age 68, of Hopkinsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Baptist Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Gray Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, November 10, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.


Mrs. McGhee was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on August 8, 1955, the daughter of the late Gordon and Louis Rawlins Dunn. Debbie was retired from Western State Hospital where she worked in the laundry room. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Phillip Joe McGhee; her brothers, Roy Dunn, Perry Dunn, George Dunn, and Ronald Dunn; her sisters, Mary Dale Murphy, and Judy Gilbert.


Survivors include her husband, Billy Junior McGhee; her sons, Billy McGhee (Mary) of Hopkinsville, Stevie McGhee (Beatrice) of Hopkinsville; her brother, Roger Dunn of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Diane Rogers of Hopkinsville, Joyce White of Hopkinsville; her five grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren
